Business Development & Sales Manager
We are currently looking for a new Business Development and Sales Manager
Upstream Connections is a Digital Marketing company based in Hove (Brighton & Hove) whose core work is in SEO. We are incredibly passionate about what we do and work for a variety of clients, from small businesses to blue chip companies.
We have a new opening for a Business Development & Sales Manager, who will be responsible for taking the lead sales role in a variety of markets, from education to travel to gourmet food. You will be responsible for executing a solid growth strategy which is focused towards leveraging existing client relationships and developing new prospects.
We are looking for the type of person that is driven by challenge and is unafraid to constantly push themselves, and who enjoys winning new contracts.
- Promote and lead sales activities of the company`s solutions and services
- Achieve our sales targets
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers via telephone calls, emails and meetings
- Be able to demonstrate the value of our SEO solutions and communicating this to senior level decision makers
- Negotiate profitable contracts and influence key decision makers
- Work effectively with our Account Management department
- Develop and present clear business proposal
You should be comfortable owning the entire sales process and have the confidence to:
The successful candidate will need to have experience in selling to senior executives. Further, you must be able to show strong sales experience and have a passion for emerging technologies, social networks and other forms of online/web communication.

Salary: £25,000 (OTE £50,000)
