More Google Wave Invites Available
Google this week released another 100,000 invites to Google Wave, which is their rather interesting take on the future of email, messaging… generally online communication. The product has been developed by the Rasmussen brothers, who were in charge of developing Google Maps.
The invite system is rather reminiscent of how they rolled out Gmail, allowing the service to spread among people actively interested in the internet and web development (and likely to give useful feedback).
Check out this (long) video for more about Wave:

They published a video couple of days ago which explains Google Wave in less than 8 minutes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6pgxLaDdQw ! 80 Minutes is a way too longggg, they admit it too in the new video.

Hi!
I´m still waiting for an invitation (it´s on its way
) but can´t wait to have a proper look at how Google Wave works. I´ve heard that at the moment it´s extremely slow and that it works better in Google Chrome (too obvious why).
I keep hearing that it´s going to change the ´era of communications´ as we know it. Is it really? Uhm… Time will tell.
